EDUCATION

Born in Trujillo - Venezuela in 1984. In 1994 began his studies of violin in Trujillo - Venezuela with Professor Susan Siman, in a Núcleo of the National System of Orchestras and Choirs Youth and Children of Venezuela "El Sistema".

In 1996 he moved to Caracas - Venezuela, entering to the Latin-American Academy of Violin José Francisco Del Castillo, and began studying with who has been his violin teacher until the present, Maestro José Francisco Del Castillo.

Between 2002 and 2004 he moved to Boston - USA and studied with the Maestros Marylou Speaker and Donald Weilerstein.

He has received Master Classes with the following Maestros: Rainer Honeck, Kolja Blacher, Günter Pichler, Rainer Küchl, Pinchas Zukerman,

Arnold Stainhert, Aaron Rossand, , Patinka Kopec, James Boswell, Igor Oistrakh, among others.

SOLOIST

He has performed as a soloist with the following Conductors: Claudio Abbado, Gustavo Dudamel, Rafael Payare, Diego Matheuz, Christian Vasquez, , Gregory Carreño, Wolfram Christ, among others.

He has played as soloist with the following Orchestras: Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra, Teresa Carreño Youth Symphony Orchestra, Caracas Youth Symphony Orchestra, Francisco de Miranda Youth Orchestra, Miranda State Symphony Orchestra, Lara State Symphony Orchestra, Trujillo State Symphony Orchestra, among others.

CHAMBER MUSIC

First violin of the Simon Bolivar String Quartet. (Recording their debut album with Deutsche Grammophon in 2013).

He has performed with soloists such as: Kolja Blacher, Natalia Gutman, Clemens Hagen, Albrecht Mayer, Emmanuel Ax, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Wolfram Christ, among others.
