With a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and the Society of Artists, Interpreters and Performers of Spain, he studies bassoon and historical bassoon at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague (Holland) with Professor Johann Steinmann.

He has been bassoonist of the León Symphony Orchestra in the 94-96 seasons and the Navarra Symphony Orchestra during the 97-2000 seasons.

He has collaborated with the Valencia Orchestra, Turiae Camerata, Mediterranean Symphony Orchestra, Academy of Europe, European Symphony Orchestra, Koninklijk Orkest Ensemble of The Hague, Camerata de Brno (Czechoslovakia) and Chamber Orchestra of the Valencian Community, among others.

He has been invited by the International Double Reed Society to perform and record the “Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra” by Amando Blanquer during the “35th Annual International IDRS Conference (2006)” at Ball State University, Indiana (United States).

He has developed his teaching work by occupying the Bassoon Chair at the “Joaquin Rodrigo” Higher Conservatories of Valencia and the “Oscar Esplá” Conservatory of Alicante during the 2002-2006 academic years.

He has recorded 4 albums of unreleased Spanish music for bassoon with the Swiss label IMC-Smartbassoon by the authors M. Yuste, H. Eslava, J. Valverde, A. Romero, A. Viola, J. Nonó, R. Carnicer and D Aguirre.

He also collaborates with various groups specialized in early music with historical instruments such as Capella de Ministrers, Harmonia del Parnás, Academia de los Nocturnos, Musica Trobada, Amystis, Siestas Ensemble, Capella Saetabis, Orquesta Valencia Original Art, Lucentum XVI and Victoria Musicae, among others. .

 

He has made various publications of bassoon scores by authors from the 18th and 19th centuries from the Chapel of the Royal Palace of Madrid, thus contributing to the recovery of the classical and romantic Spanish bassoon repertoire. He has given conferences and musicological publications related to the bassoon and actively participates as a member of AFOES (Association of Bassoonists and Oboists of Spain) and IDRS (International Double Reed Society). Invited by the Association of Symphonic Composers of the Valencian Community (COSICOVA) he performs the premiere of compositions for solo bassoon by the authors A. Fornet, A. Maicas, M. Ruiz, J. Ros García, J.B. Meseguer, S. Chuliá and J. M. García Montalt.

 

Currently he is bassoon soloist of the Municipal Symphonic Band of Valencia, soloist of the Eutherpe Chamber Orchestra, teacher at NEO Academia and Doctor in Music from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
